Did you make a New Year’s Resolution? It seems to be a trend every year, that ultimately fails for most of the population. Don’t worry, I’m not here to judge you for making one, or not making one.
For those who did make one, why do you wait until the new year? Do you feel that change can only start during the new year? Is that the “clean slate/start” theory that people have all through the year when they say “I’ll start on Monday”? Again, I’m not here to bash, just honestly wondering (let me know in the comments).
For those who did not make one, was this your first year not making one, or do you never make them. If you never make them, is it because you’ve tried a few times and it doesn’t stick or something else (let me know in the comments)?
I believe that anything can be started at anytime. Some people will believe you, and some won’t. No matter when you start, you’re going to have that opposition. A support system no matter what it is you’re doing is key. Your support system doesn’t have to be family, and it doesn’t have to be a friend, it can be anyone. It can be someone who’s never done what you’ve done a day in their life, but their positiveness and belief in you is what will push you and get through those days when you feel like giving up.
